He is survived by: his daughters, Virginia Smith (James Clayton) of Waco and Vicki Byrd (Dee) of Gatesville; his grandsons, James Clayton Smith, Jr. (Heather) of Waco, Roland Corey Smith (Jamie) of Victoria, Allen Holland (Ashley) of Turnersville, Nate Byrd (Stephanie) of Gatesville, Kevin Byrd (Kayla) of Seguin and Jeremy Byrd (Ruthie) of Weatherford; and his cousin Myrtle Tomlinson of Lorena. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; sister.
