It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Hawthorne of Mexia, Texas, who passed away on January 18, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Hawthorne to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Franklin Hawthorne Sr. and Helen Wooton Hawthorne; and his sisters, Jeannine King, Betty Randall and Rita O'Neill.
He is survived by: his significant other Jami Curry Hawthorne; his daughters, Robyn Hawthorne Sterling (Coby) of Mexia and Randi Jo Hawthorne (Clayton) of Mexia; and his grandchildren, Kelly Crook Harrison (James) of Mexia, Landry Harrison (Noemi), Bryce Sterling, Payton Morgan (Joseph), Evan Harrison (Alexis), Boyd Sterling, Brody Sterling and Liam Davis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
