He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Lucinda Furlow (Johnson) and William Furlow; his son Brandon Furlow; and his siblings, Martha Mueck, Retha Bass and W. F. Furlow.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Furlow; his daughter Robin Hawkins (James); his grandchildren, Heath Hawkins (Jaque) and Chase Hawkins; his daughter Missy Condon (Clinton); his grandchildren, Jennifer Farst (J. D.) and Jaime Smith (Blake); and his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Malacara (Miguel), Kole Hawkins, Landon Hawkins, Luke Smith, Jake Smith, Eva Smith, Ryker Farst, Harper Farst and Lainie Farst.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Blair Stubbs Funeral Home (605 S McKinney St, Mexia, TX 76667). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home (605 S McKinney St, Mexia, TX 76667). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Prairie Grove Cemetery (2678 FM1953, Mexia, TX 76667).
