She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Leonard and Hallie Veola Cleere Teer; her husband Jake Johnson; her children, Brenda Stone (Cowart), Jimmy Cowart and Marvin Cowart; her granddaughter Lori Murray; and her siblings, Dorothy Hilscher, Margaret Rogers, LaDayle Johnson and Freddy Teer.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Stacy Faglie (Jack) of Mexia, Shawn Todd (Joe) of Brownwood, Texas, Jerrod Cowart of San Angelo, Troy Stone (Cortney) of Novice, Travis Cowart, Jerred of Abilene, Candace Cowart Mowrey (Michael) of San Angelo, Jordan Carter (Rachel) of Hamilton and Dillan Coward Davidson of Utah; and her son Jackie Cowart (Anne) of San Angelo.
