She was predeceased by: her father Herbert Weaver; her husband James Barrentine, Sr.; her mother Thelma Weaver; her brothers, Marshall Weaver and Milton Weaver; and her granddaughter Melissa Barrentine.
She is survived by: her children, James Barrentine, Jr. (Ida), Sheila Coleman (Henry), Herbert Barrentine (Dianne) and Kathy Steed (Garlan); her grandchildren, James, III (Tonya), J. T. (Sarah), Jennifer (Korey), James Ray (Gisela), Shawn (April), Christy, Herbert Jr. (Lil'H), Jade, Heather (Matt) and Jake (Rachel); her sister Sue Schultz; and her siblings-in-law, Jim Barrentine (Aliene), John Barrentine (Nancy), Bet McKnight and Betty Barrentine. She is also survived by 22 Great-grandchildren and 10 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bowers Funeral Home (900 US-84, Teague, TX 75860). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
