With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Currie of Mexia, Texas, who passed away on September 5, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bryan Pete and Irene Roark Padgett; her niece Rita McIntire; her siblings, Roland Padgett, Dorothy Dillard, Maydie Malone, Virgina Bond and Shorty Padgett; her daughter Deborah Bowman; and her grandson Tom Hensel.
She is survived by: her husband Fred Currie; her children, Randy Currie, Rusty Currie and Carrie Dazey; her grandchildren, William Currie, Vanessa Perkins, Sandy Coleman, Allen Currie, Freddie Hensel, Rusty Dazey, Jeffrey Hensel, Aimee Avera, Kaeman Perkins, Clay Perkins and Sheldon Kirsh; and her sister Relda Louise Parker. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
