It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Marsh Currie of Mexia, Texas, who passed away on July 16, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Currie and Molly Perkins Currie; his wife Helen Currie; his daughter Deborah Louise Bowman; his grandson Tom Jeffrey Hensel; and his siblings, Carl "Sonny" Currie, Bob Currie, Maggie McCleskey and William Currie.
He is survived by: his family, Rook and Chess; his children, Randy Currie, Rusty Currie (Dee) and Carrie Dazey (Leonard); his grandchildren, William Currie, Vanessa Perkins (Jeremy), Sandy Coleman (Sam), Allen Currie (Laura), Freddie Hensel (Julie), Rusty Dazey and Sheldon Kirsh; his great grandchildren, Jeffrey Hensel, Aimee Avera, Kaeman Marsh Perkins, Clay Perkins, Jordan Dazey, Katelynn Dazey and Millie Avera; his sister Dorothy Coe; and his sisters-in-law, Relda Louise Parker and Kathryn Currie. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren.
