She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Spurgeon and Tressie Estelle Fortson (Whisenhunt); and her brothers, Ollie, Joe, Larry and Harvey Eugene.
She is survived by: her children, Gina Crossley (Glen) and Galen Day (Maurine); her grandchildren, Alysha Richardson (Chris), Kala Janek (Ryan), Jason Donaho (Brianna) and Jeromy Donaho (Samantha); and her sister-in-law Yvonne Fortson. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Blair Stubbs Funeral Home (605 S McKinney St, Mexia, TX 76667). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
