He is survived by: his wife Hattie Armstrong; his sisters, Darlene McPherson and Treletta Dunlap; his daughters, Deena Wideman (Shay) of Bandera, Terrie McCoslin (Dean) of Mexia and Kelli Haynes (Larry) of Mexia, Texas; his grandchildren, Michael Haynes (Morgan), Hollie Palk (Tyler), Megan Haynes (William), Macy Young (Ryan), Taylor Wideman (Bailey), Mollie Vaughn (Riley) and Collin Wideman (Kyra Clark); and his great grandchildren, Greyson, Henry, Bob Haynes, Tucker Thompson, Cayden and Jace Young. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Northcrest Church of Christ (918 TX-171, Mexia, TX 76667). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Hogan Cemetery (County Rd 792, Texas 76642).
