He is survived by: his daughters, Nevelyn Batiste-Ward (Eligha) of Red Oak, TX, Tanisha Batiste of Plano, TX and Marquetta Batiste of Fullerton, CA; his siblings, Christine Batiste, Joyce Batiste Jordan, Rainey Batiste and Melvin Batiste; his granddaughter Tiffany Joy Batiste; and his great grandchildren, Lauryn Renae Scallion and Darius Scallion. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, relatives and friends.
