He is survived by: his wife Mary Matthews; his children, Tommie Lynn Matthews (April), Josh Matthews, Jeramiah Matthews (Heather) and Julie Parrish (Wesley); his grandchildren, Kylie Ann Matthews (David Taylor-Minthorn), Haley Nicole Matthews, Kendall Faith Matthews, Miranda Quinn Matthews, Kadence Grace Matthews, Kassidy Hope Matthews, Samantha Vangorder (Ryan), Cassandra Matthews, Brandon Matthews, Kendahl Matthews, Hunter Matthews, Penelope Matthews, Michael Henning Jamie (Genae Green) and Steven Henning (McKenna Watson); his great grandchildren, Mason, Jude, Aiden, Rylie, Abel, Sophie and Maverick; and his siblings, Glen Ray Matthews and Angie Poteet.
