On Febuary 14, 2022, Rosalio (Ross) passed away n Mesquite, Tx. at the age of 67 Rosalio (Ross) was born at Dolly Vincent Memorial Hospital in San Benito Tx. to Maria Elena Garza Rodriguez and Rosalio Rodriguez Jr. on July 14, 1955.
Rosalio (Ross) is preceded in death by both his parents, his brother George Rodriguez. He is survived by sisters Ida Mae Rodriguez-Bailey (Joseph Sr.), Margret Elizabeth Endres, Ann Marie Rodriguez-May (David), brother Christopher Nelson Rodriguez, cousin Jose Guadalupe Rodriguez Jr.(Angela), two nieces , one nephew and several extended family members
Rosalio (Ross) attended St. Theresa in San Benito, Tx,, St. Joseph Academy in Brownsville, Tx. and King HS in Corpus Christi Tx. He attended Del Mar College in Corpus Christi Tx. and Eastfield Community college in Mesquite Tx., graduated with an Associate Degree in Drafting.
Rosalio (Ross) was an alter boy at St. Benedict Church in San Benito Tx., a football player at King HS, with his own hands build a house for his family, and he lived in New York working as a draftsman. Over the years Rosalio was given many loving nick names by his grandparents, family and friends. As a child he was Chalio, Rosey as a HS football player, Ross by his family as an adult, and as Charles by his older sister. But to whatever name he was called he was always a son, brother, father and a caring person who with younger sister got into some mischief which got both in hot water with the parents. He will be remembered as a happy, loving, you always answer to family type person.
