Ronald Leon Greenwood Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Leon Greenwood (Mesquite, Texas), who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fay Greenwood and Reverend Harold Greenwood; and his siblings, Elza Greenwood and Norma Slavens. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Melton; his son Kenny (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Raleigh, Reagan and Reese of Malakoff, Texas; his sons, Chris (Matthew McElyea) of Dallas, Texas and Rick (Yoanna); his grandchildren, Kaleb, Kailah and Karmen of Lincoln, Nebraska; and his sister Dorothy Robb of Springfield, Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to Ron's favorite charity, Paralyzed Veterans of America, Texas Chapter.
