She was predeceased by: her parents, Amund Riveland and Rachel Riveland; her husband John Stepp, Jr.; her siblings, Arvin Riveland and Alpha Symonds; her children, David Eric Stepp and Kathryn Tinius (Stepp); and her grandson Christopher Eric Stepp.

She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Jo and Rachel Elizabeth Stepp; her children-in-law, Gail Stepp and Don Tinius; her grandchildren, Emily Nelson, Austin Tinius and Adam Tinius; and her great grandchildren, Javier, Angela, Lizett Nelson, Charlotte, Claire Tinius and Mara Tinius.
