It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Ruth Lopez of Mesquite, Texas, born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on April 18, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Jose Y. DeLeon. She is survived by: her husband Carlos Lopez; her son Christopher Alcerreca (Gricel); her granddaughters, Olivia, Amaris and Layla; her siblings, Sandra Harris (David) and Joe DeLeon (Nohemi); her mother-in-law Elisa Marrero Lopez; her siblings-in-law, Juanita Diaz (Jose), Adrian Lopez (Martha), Elvia Marroquin and Sandra Bravo (Mario); and her close friends, Norma, Carlos, Ramiro, Elizabeth Hernandez, Mark, Lyn Olds and Roxanne Franco. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the National Kidney Foundation, Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church, and Hidden Acres Christian Camp in Kaufman, TX.
