She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lovell and Lura Ellen Lovell (Hardin); and her husband Charles. She is survived by: her children, Steven Newman (Suzanne), Brenda Newsome, Patricia Howard (John) and Charles Rose, Jr. (Kasey); her grandchildren, Malynda Darden, Erin Roberts, Jennifer Newsome, Ashley Moore, Steven Newman, John Howard, Jr., Morgan Rose and Whitney Howard; and her sister Lois Hampton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
