She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Slaughter and Edney Slaughter; and her brothers, Wayne Slaughter (Jan) and Bruce Slaughter (PJ). She is survived by: her husband Arlin Daulton Mead; her sons, Bart Wesley (Sharon) and Daulton Jantzen (Deidre); her grandchildren, Danielle Hood (Jeremy), Katy Mead, Jake Mead (Cheyenne), Frankie Mead (Shayla), Sarah Jennings (Jeremy) and Isabella Mead; her great grandchildren, Brianna Hood, Riley Hood, Bryce Hood, Alison Jennings, Harper Jennings, Jasper Mead and Annabelle Mead; and her sisters, Ernestine Trammel (J. T.), Pat Black (Willie), Glenda O'Neal (Jimmy) and Judy Cox (Billy). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
