He was predeceased by: his parent Lester Hinson Sr.; his siblings, Curtis, Bill, Roy, Gaylean and Priscilla; his great grandchild Jeremiah Dibbles; and his brother Jimmy Charles.
He is survived by: his wife Jessie Mae Fairfax of Dallas; his wife's daughter Chloe; his daughter Marilyn Henson; his siblings, Arnell, Bonnie, Emma Lou, Herbert Wayne and Betsy Ann; his grandchildren, Pamela, Sadarin, Jamaar and Jessica; and his great grandchildren, Mauraza, Paedyn, Jamaar Jr., Elijah, Zen, Cali, Ariana and A'ja.
