He was predeceased by: his parents, Lane Jernigan, Sr. and Helen Coale DiBlasi; and his sister Deidre Ann Gladfelter. He is survived by: his sister Bettye Howard; his brother-in-law Myron Spence Howard; and his brother John Jernigan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
