He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Bejar and Enedina Gamez; his grandparents, Aurelio and Felipa Gamez; his uncle Dr. Oscar Gamez; and his brother Francisco Bejar.
He is survived by: his siblings, Sergio, Nina, Nena and Eneyda; his wife Minnie Etta Jones; his children, Juan Felipe Bejar and Diana (Javier Garza); his grandchildren, Reece Raquel (Brandon Ross), Marcelo Bejar, Javier (Miriam), Mauricio and David Garza; and his great grandchild Ellis Lynn Ross.
