He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Pinales Vitela and Santos Zaragoza; and his brother Efrain Pinales. He is survived by: his wife Margarita Pinales; his children, Veronica Ortega (Tony Ortega) and Jesus "Jesse" Pinales Jr.; his grandchildren, Iris Ortega, Antonio "Toñito" Ortega Jr. and Matthew Eli Pinales; and his siblings, Margarita Diaz, Arturo Pinales, Patricia Coronado, Alfonso Pinales, Susana Armenta and Juan Francisco Pinales. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
