He was predeceased by: his parents, Geneva Mitchell and Raymond Rafferty; his siblings, Mahayla Cullen and Alma Plumlee; his close friends, Ann Rose of Ann's Girls, Lisa Stout (David Tipton), Lori, Mike Alvarez, Leslie and Byron Johnson; and his son Christopher Rafferty.

He is survived by: his niece Sharon; his nephews, Gary, Mark and Craig; his children, Jeffrey Rafferty (Eileen), Jennifer Suarez and Rebecca Rafferty; his grandchildren, Matthew, Colin, Ashley, Isabella and Sofia; and also, Jay Rose, Meagan Stout and Tyler Stout of Texas.
