She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen "Louise" Carpenter and Willard Ralph Carpenter; and her great-grandparents, Bennett, Dakota and Blue Charles Reagan.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Junior Dewoody; her brother Billy Carl Carpenter (Cynthia) of Rowlett, Texas.; her stepson Michael Dewoody (Tracy) of Longview; her children, Myron Dewoody (Deanna) of Argyle, Heather Neve of Sunnyvale Texas and Kristin Garza; and her grandchildren, Abigail Dewoody, Blake Dewoody, Charles Benjamin Dewoody (Karlie), Dakota Reagan (Bennett), Breanna Splain (Christian), Tré Neve, Kenzi Garza, Dylan Neve and Kestin Garza.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home (2022 N Center St, Bonham, TX 75418). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gober Cemetery. A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mesquite Church of Christ (400 W Davis St, Mesquite, TX 75149).
