He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Lee Dowlearn Sr. and Claudia Louise Atkins; his sister Bobbie Dowlearn; his daughter LaVonne Thomas; and his grandson Owen Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Dowlearn (Bailey); his sister Dorothy Martinez; and his children, Tamme Chilton, Rob Pannoni, Herbert Dowlearn, Teresa Coombs, Laurel Nixon and Patrick Dowlearn. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and a multitude of beloved extended family.
