She was predeceased by: her parents, Lolo Garza and Eliza Garza; her grandsons, Jacob J. Jacquez and Stephen M. Acevedo; her great grandchild Caiden; her siblings, Patsy Tijerina (Alfonso), Frank Garza (Helen), Lorenzo Garza (Sue) and Antonio "Tony" Garza; her niece Martha McVey; and her nephews, Charles Roy Garza, Manuel Tijerina and Billy Frank Garza.
She is survived by: her husband Juan; her children, Stephanie E. Jacquez (Jesse), Stephen M. Acevedo (Maria) of Manuel, T. J and Matthew A. Acevedo (Valerie); her grandchildren, Ashlee Rae Adame' (Jon), Eliza Acevedo, Erica Soto (Jose), Luis Vieyra (Valerie), Casie Jordan Acevedo (Neko) of Christian, J. R, Peyton O. Yanez (Jesus), Rylie D. Acevedo (Tyler), Matthew L. Alvarado and Derek M. Avila; and her great grandchildren, Analeese Rose-Eloise, Jace, Ryan, Avery, Kevin, Natalia, Alexander, Camilla, Aria, Liliana, Carmelo, Hiram, Addalynn, Addyson, Stevie, Adam, Alizae, Jordan, Nevaeh, Mia, Kailey and Joseph.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parker - Ashworth Funeral Home (2217 S Washington St, Kaufman, TX 75142). A rosary was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saint Ann Catholic Church (806 N Washington St, Kaufman, TX 75142).
