He is survived by: his wife Sandy Benat of Mesquite, Texas; his sons, Wayne Benat (Trisha) of Mesquite, Texas and Allan Benat of Cedar Rapids; his grandsons, Brandon, Blake and Brian Benat of Mesquite, Texas; and his sister Theresa Huggins of Dallas.
