Though Daniel Ray may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Daniel Ray touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Svoboda and Ruth Svoboda; his brother Willie; his daughter Betty Hillebrandt; and his grandson Eric Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Svoboda; his children, Valerie Svoboda and Daniel Svoboda, Jr. (Rachel); and his sister Ruby Herring. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Troy Suggs Funeral Home (7623 Military Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75227). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
