We are sad to announce that on June 24, 2022, at the age of 88, Billie Jo Jones (Mesquite, Texas), born in Dallas, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Hoops and Dovie Mae Hoops; her granddaughter Kayce Krone; her siblings, A. B. Hoops, Kenneth Hoops, Donald Hoops and Evelyn Lindsey; and her brothers-in-law, Jack Lindsey, Buck Pate and R. H. Childers.
She is survived by: her sisters, Madolyn Pate and Gwendolyn Childers; her sister-in-law Tenia Hoops; her daughters, Teena Dyer (Gary), Terrie Lansdale (Billy), Tonya Hunt and Toni Jones; her grandchildren, Chad Riley (Lanie), Brent Dyer (Jill), Tricia Anderson (Danny), Kelly Johnson (Scott), Lecia Garner (Mark), Lacey Swinson (Drew) and Matt Lansdale; her great grandchildren, Chelsie, Camryn, Carsyn Riley, Hunter, Hayden, Hallie Anderson, Blake, Kate Dyer, Mason, Macie Johnson, Cade, Carter Krone, Jordan, Courtney Garner, Wesley, Brylie Swinson, Betty, Josh Lansdale and Kaitlan Perkins; and her great great grandchildren, Billie Jo, Braylee, Paislee and Barrett Perkins. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor and memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
