He is survived by: his sons, Ben Carter (Brandy) of Ben Wheeler and Buddy Carter (Shana) of Grand Saline; his siblings, Joe Bob Carter of Gilmer, Hal Carter (Lynn) of Royce City, Rex Carter (Laura) of Fate, Charles Carter of Abilene and Doris Miller of St. Louis, MO; and his grandchildren, Bella, Berkley, Grayson, Emerson, Paisley, Sadie, Owen and Wyatt.
