She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Carlton Shiflet and Thelma Elizabeth Turner Shiflet; her husband Max McClung of Year's Eve; her children, Elizabeth Ferguson (Edie) and Larry McClung; her son-in-law Billy Ferguson; and her siblings, Richard Shiflet, Freddie Shiflet and Jean Shiflet Sudduth.
She is survived by: her brother Ronnie Shiflet (Lana); and her grandchildren, David Ferguson (Blake Griffin) of Rockwall, TX, Katie Ferguson of Mesquite, TX, Max McClung and Blake. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Laurel Oaks Funeral Home (12649 Lake June Rd, Mesquite, TX 75180). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Laurel Oaks Memorial Park (12649 Lake June Rd, Mesquite, TX 75180).
