She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Doris and Harvey Smitherman; her siblings, Lillian Applin and Monroe; and her granddaughter Vickie.

She is survived by: her husband Victor Lowery; her children, Chris, Lora, Jack and Tracie; her brothers, Paul, Danny, Tommy, Johnny, Mark and Timmy; her grandchildren, Vicky, Cindy, Mary, Jennifer, Michelle, David, Bobbie Jo, Danny, Pauline, Dana, Jackie, Victor, Jack, Hope, Brooke, Ashley, Kayla and Blake; and her aunt Flora Jane Jones.
