We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2023, at the age of 79, Anita Louise Smothermon (Mesquite, Texas), born in Corpus Christi, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Don Smothermon; and her parents, Louis Richard and Bonnie Geraldine. She is survived by: her sons, Gary Pearson (Jodi), Richard Pearson (Jane) and Jeff Pearson; her grandchildren, Taylor, Jordan, Meagan, Dakota, Jade, Lacy, Brock and Blake; her great grandchildren, Graham, Sloane, Lilah and Kinley; and her brothers, Larry Newman (Linda) and Mark Newman (Cindy). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
She went home to meet her Lord and Savior on February 26, 2023, in Mesquite, Texas at the age of 79 after many years of battling Alzheimer's disease.
