He is survived by: his wife Susie Ortega; his children, Rebecca Michelle Gomez of Copperas Cove and Manuel Ortega Gomez, Jr. of Mertzon; his grandsons, Christian Manuel Bernard of Midland and Nicholas Raine Candia of Copperas Cove; and his great grandchild Yadiel Elijah Fiallo of Copperas Cove.
