It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lee Oleta Cosby of Mertens, Texas, born in Rosebud, Texas, who passed away on November 16, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, V. C. Cosby and Madora Cosby (Collier); his brothers, Rufus, Paul, Gene, Joe Ben, David and Wayne; his son Terry Cosby; and his grandson Robert Chambers.
He is survived by: his wife Geneva Cosby; his children, Johnnie Lee Cosby (Patsy) and Carolyn Childress; his brothers, Tim Cosby (Janie) and John Cosby (Lois); his grandchildren, Craig, Matthew, Clay, Jana, Melissa and Rod; and his great grandchildren, Kaden and Klaira. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
