Tony Biera Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tony Biera of Merkel, Texas, who passed away on July 16, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonardo Biera and Ester Martinez Biera; his siblings, Cynthia Duran, Cruz Ribera, Rosa Whitt, Jose, Margarito and Antonio; his brothers-in-law, Dan Sayer, Tony Martinez and Ruben Duran; and his friends, Pepper, Pancho and Rocky.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Biera of Merkel; his sons, Ricky of St. Petersburg and Jason of Loxahatchee; and his siblings, Mary Martinez of Abilene, Carmen Acuna (Felix) of Merkel, Esther Sayer of Washington and Eddie Biera of Merkel. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Tony's memory can be made to the American Cancer Society.
