She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lewis and Mardie Lewis; and her siblings, Leonard "Len" Lewis, Melvin "Mutt" Lewis, Herman "Hooper" Lewis, Bennie Lewis, Bernice "Buntchy" Bagby, Louise "Lou" Pickle, Mary Martin and Jane "Janie" Poisson.
She is survived by: her children, Westley Rakes of Cisco, David Wayne Rakes of Abilene and Linda Kay Rakes of Texas; her grandchildren, Tina Rakes of Cisco, John Rakes and His (Pam) of Clyde; and her brother Billy Wayne Lewis (Theresa) of Washington. She is also survived by three great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
