She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvin Baucom and Della Baucom; her siblings, Frank Baucom, Marvin Baucom and Bobbie Carter; her son-in-law Johnny Smoot; and her great grandchild Gracelynn Well.
She is survived by: her children, Vonda Smith (Terry) of Dudley, Rhonda Beard (Bobby) of Clyde, LaJuanda Smoot of Dudley, Tonya Moore (Randy) of Elmdale and Jay Don Poindexter (Debora) of Merkel; her siblings, Mary Hagler of Midlothian and Jack Baucom (Karen) of San Angelo; her grandchildren, Travis Smith, Teena Jaworski, Lynnae Well, Kayla Zeigler, LaTrisha Payne, Rusty Smoot, Doug Smoot, April Hayhurst, Chris Smoot, Dusty Moore, Randa Drake, Chance Alewine, Alissa Schumacher, Trasa Webber and Jaylee Poindexter; and her spouse Ulys Beard. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Merkel Church of Christ to help youth attend Camp Blue Haven.
