Ladonna Jowers Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ladonna Jowers (Merkel, Texas), born in Abilene, Texas, who passed away on October 21, 2018, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Dunn and Shirley Hopps; her stepfather William Hopps; her brother Lawrence Dunn, Jr.; and her grandmother Almeda Redmond.

She is survived by: her husband Milburn Jowers of Merkel; her children, Lisa Jonas of Merkel, Paul Jonas, Jr. of Merkel, Melanie Jowers, Stephanie Jowers, Greg Carpenter and Jamie Jowers; and her siblings, Melissa Campbell and Phil Dunn.

LaDonna was a servant to others and dedicated her life to her assisted living facility, Almost Home, and to her Alzheimer's and hospice patients.
