It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay Helmer (Merkel, Texas), born in Abilene, Texas, who passed away on May 23, 2018, at the age of 23, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Wesley Helmer of Merkel and Marquita Helmer of Merkel; his brother Colt Helmer of Tulsa, OK; his grandparents, Frank Menix of Gail, Danny Allred, Mary Allred of Roscoe and Polly Bonner of Weatherford; his aunt Cindy Grayson; his uncles, John Helmer and Kris Wusterhausen; and also, Jim Grayson, Beverly Helmer, Cresenta Wusterhausen, Candice Grayson, John Grayson, Tamra Hansen, Jamie Hansen, Jenna Sobey, Chris Sobey, Ashley Helmer, Aiden Wusterhausen and Ava Wusterhausen.
