She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Virgil Patterson and Reta Akin Patterson; her sister Bertha; her children, Gene, Jr. and Alisha; her grandchildren, Gene III, Nolan and Cannon; her son John IV; her grandchildren, Deborah, John V, Jeremiah and Butterfly; her daughter Cassie; her grandchildren, Jadi and Jimmy; and her children, Luke, Laney, Lottie and Landri.
