With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Antonio Martinez (Merkel, Texas), born in Sabinal, Texas, who passed away on April 29, 2018 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jose Maria, Corina Florez and Olivia Avila; his stepbrother Gilbert; his daughter-in-law Nora (Cricket); his child Brenda; and his granddaughters, Cassandra and Alexandria.
He is survived by: his spouse Maria B. Martinez of Merkel; his children, Antonio Jr, Rosalinda, Marcello, Pablo, Miguel, Robert, Rey of Abilene, Elida of St. Fleming Island, FL and Rick of Tucson; his siblings, Oscar, Chano Jr, Rueben, Arturo, Gloria and Elvia; and his stepsisters, Natie and Lilly. He is also survived by 32 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren.
Memorial donations in Antonio's memory can be made to Abilene Meal on Wheels Program, as he enjoyed the service provided and meals.
