She was predeceased by: her parents, Alford Joe Caperton and Nena Laveryn Allen Caperton. She is survived by: her sister Nena Jo Booth; her children, Karen Prescher (Brent), James Damron (Vonda), Kerrie Johnson (Kelli) and Kristi Baker (Ronald Baker); her grandson John Micheal Tew (Bobbie Jo); and her great grandchildren, Kaygan, Hazel, Theodore, Grayson, Leif, Emmett, Heidi and Christopher.
She volunteered at the food bank and worked to donate clothes and toys to children in need.
