He was predeceased by: his parents, Christian Paulson and Pearl West Paulson; his siblings, Chris Paulson, Bernice Turner and Bill Paulson; and his daughters, Karen and Kelli.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Maxon Paulson; his children, Kerry Paulson, Robin Rhoades (Jim), Alisha Carpenter (Stephen), Robert Alldredge Jr. (Sherry) and Nathan Maxon; his grandchildren, Kyle (Araceli), Jacob Paulson, Joshua (Mandy), Brittany Rhoades, Nolan, Emilia, Brooks Carpenter, Ashleigh, Rebecca, Robert III and Laith Maxon; his great grandchildren, Cheyanne, Atticus, Dauntez, Jolei, Eaden, Xavian Paulson, Avery Small Alice (Austin), James Rhoades and Bryson Alldredge; and his great great grandchild Cason Small.
