She was predeceased by: her parents, Remijio Gonzalez and Guillermina Gonzalez; her husband Ricardo B. Gomez; her children, Maria Delia Mejia and Guadalupe C. Gomez; her grandson Daniel Ayala, Jr.; her sons-in-law, Daniel Ayala Sr. and Daniel Jose Mejia; and her siblings, Goyo Gonzalez, Francisco Gonzalez, Elijio Gonzalez, Catarino Gonzalez, Juan Gonzalez, Guadalupe Garza and Chana Anciso.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Gomez (Zaida) of Houston Texas, Ricardo Gomez Jr. (Alexandra) of Relampago Texas, Janie Ayala, Gloria Huerta of McAllen Texas, Margaret Castaneda (Mario), Alicia Gonzalez (Larry) of Edinburg Texas and Irma Gomez of Relampago Texas; and her sisters, Isabel Vasquez of Sanger California and Josefa Rodriguez of Weslaco Texas. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren.
