We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2020, at the age of 89, Socorro Alvarado Garza of Mercedes, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Francisco Garza; and her daughters, Flora Bell and Nora Alcantar. She is survived by: her children, Manuel Garza (Virginia), Lupe Thomas (Kevin), Frances Rodriguez, Art Garza (Linda), Alfred Garza (Diane) and Andy Garza; and her brother Salvador Rodriguez. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as Socorro's wishes, burial services will be held in private at Sanger Cemetery.
