Senobia left this world on February 17, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Cerda and Leonor De La Cerda. She is survived by: her children, Omar Castaneda (Marlin) of San Antonio, Nora Dominguez of Mercedes and Orlando Castaneda of San Antonio; her sisters, Sylvia Castaneda and Sara Garza; her grandchildren, John Dominguez of Mercedes, Kristen, Alyssa Castaneda of San Antonio, Cali and Brianna Penshorn of Austin, Texas.; her husband Adalberto Castaneda; and her sister Celia Cantu.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A prayer will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Heavenly Grace Funeral Home (26873 White Ranch Rd, La Feria, TX 78559). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at the Restlawn Memorial Park (14166 US-83 BUS, La Feria, TX 78559).
