We are sad to announce that on July 1, 2024, at the age of 86, Petra Garcia of Mercedes, Texas, born in Harlingen, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Petra's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Petra has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Encarnacion Guerrero and Eduveges Guerrero (Ramirez); and her sons, Roberto and Jose Luis Garcia. She is survived by: her children, Maria C. Hernandez (Leo), Rosa Cogburn, Cirilda Williams and San Juana Ford. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
