It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pete Chacon of Mercedes, Texas, who passed away on March 17, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Santos Chacon and Manuel Chacon; and his brothers, Miguel (Mike) and Peter Chacon. He is survived by: his wife Emma Garcia Chacon of Mercedes; his sons, Charles James Chacon (Mariza) of Mercedes and David Paul (Michele) of Pharr; his grandchildren, Pauline Victoria Chacon, Charles James Chacon II, Ella Marie Chacon, David Paul Chacon Jr. and Ciara Gonzalez; and his siblings, Nellie Chacon, Manuel Reynaldo Chacon (Gloria), Hector Chacon (Sharon) and Heriberto Chacon (Eddie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
