He is survived by: his wife Emma Garcia Chacon of Mercedes; his sons, Charles James Chacon (Mariza) of Mercedes and David Paul (Michele) of Pharr; his grandchildren, Pauline Victoria Chacon, Charles James Chacon II, Ella Marie Chacon, David Paul Chacon Jr. and Ciara Gonzalez; and his siblings, Nellie Chacon, Manuel Reynaldo Chacon (Gloria), Hector Chacon (Sharon) and Heriberto Chacon (Eddie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
