It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oscar Galvan Jr. of Mercedes, Texas, who passed away on June 15, 2021, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Galvan and Merced Gomez Galvan; and his siblings, Roberto Galvan and Araceli Galvan. He is survived by: his wife Carmen Galvan; his children, Brenda Galvan, Omar Galvan (Diana) and Oliver Galvan (Elida); and his siblings, Rolando Galvan (Jackie), Janie Mitchell (Bobby), Leticia Silva (Joe) and Deborah Muniz (Rick). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
